A bouquet of flowers always brighten the mood, increase moments of clarity, brings nature inside the home. There are so many benefits of having fresh flowers in the space, among them; increase positive emotions, beautiful scents, increase energy and also aids relaxation. But sometimes, we do not have time to visit the florist especially on a cold rainy or winter day... what better way to bring positive energy? This painting was based on a actual bouquet of flowers set in the middle of the room and painted ala prima. Not only did it bring a joyful spirit while painting it, my hope is it provides you with the same in your home.

Washes of acrylic paint were applied to the wooden panel. Paint was swooshed along the board using a brayer and other found tools. Collage work was applied in some areas, and flowers where painted using a palette knife!
