Conservation is the act of preserving and protecting earth's natural resources for today and future generations. This painting is in the series of Chi Life and Energy where the focus of my work was to provide a voice to nature. To help start dialogue, to defend our environment. My painting represents big sky, peaceful and quiet nature, clear air and untouched land.

Painting started with application of molding paste spread all around to provide texture. Drizzling of self leveling gel and clear tar gel, provided some lift in the canvas, an additional texture set to raise areas in the painting. A red wash in acrylic and outline in quinacridone magenta. Succeeding layers were applied using a brayer, imprints using various tools add to the mystery of the work.
